The Client: A digital music festival brand which aims to unite South African through the love of music.
The Problem: Creative a Creative Strategy for a new online music festival Brand. Let’s do 70s funk with a South African twist. What can we name it? How does it look? How does it evoke South African pride?
The Audience: South Africans of all ages who love music.
The Outcome: A name and creative strategy for the new online music festival brand. The strategy centered around the name "Mzansi Moves," which draws on the colloquial name for South Africa. The tagline "Let's Groove" evokes a 70s tone unique to the South African context. The brand design combines traditional South African shwe-shwe styles and colors with a distinct 70s aesthetic.
